Color Names of Carpet

Have you ever thought of who created them?  Does this subject INTRIGUE you?  Next time your shopping for carpet, take notice of the different color names.  You can really APPRECIATE the effort or be totally BEDAZZLED. There is a marketing  EXECUTIVE in a GREY SUIT that is given this job.  He walks around and sees something.  In GLEE , he writes down what he thinks is a FABULOUS color name. 

How many of you like those old time Westerns?  The cowboy sitting in his SADDLE, wearing LEATHER CHAPS, which are made of the finest BROWN LEATHER just east of the  GRAND CANYON, yells WESTWARD HO.  As the WAGON WHEEL starts to roll, churning up dust from the GREAT PLAINS, you may catch a COTTON TAIL  ZIG-ZAG to get out of the way or a TUMBLEWEED spin across the territory.   At the end of the TV show or the movie, someone sings HAPPY TRAILS to you, ‘till we meet again.

YUMMY!  In England, if you order a BISCUIT it’s not what you think.  It is a BUTTER COOKIE.

You might then APPRECIATE  a trip on a JET  to TIBET or the NORTH SEA.  If you get chilled from the SNOWY WHITE VISTAS,  you can leave for the warmer climates and get a tan on some EXOTIC ISLE or sooth those aching muscles in a FABULOUS HOT SPRING.   Since PHOTOGRAPHY is in my blood, a trip to a COASTAL area like CAPE CODE or NANTUCKET would be nice.  I’d sit on an ADIRONDACK chair in hopes of photographing  a SCHOONER sailing  by. Only the HOURGLASS SAND keeps time.  It would be nice, but I’m ONLY DREAMING.
